I thought I signed this last night, but I don't see it on the message board today, so I'll try again. I heard about this site from a friend yesterday and checked it out immediately when I got home. It is FASCINATING to look at all those old photos! I have a few more that I'll send to you when I have time to scan them. I'm finishing up my last semester in law school. I'm still in Lincoln...bought a house and live with my boyfriend Scott and three cats. I bartend at BC's Pub at 12th and O. There's a lot of you on this message board that I haven't seen or heard from in years. I'm so glad this site is up!

God, do I remember the Brickyard. Hanging out with McGinn, going across the street to the University Cops POP machine for a mixer, peeing while standing up in the community bathroom, seeing Mary Samson sing, Jim Graham, Jake, Al Wilson, The "Skate Betties," many wonderful memories. Living in Omaha, working in Lincoln as Library Coordinator for Dept of Corrections, was the Librarian at Nebr State Penitentiary. I can remember hanging out with Jake as little kids, he lived down the street from my Grandma's house. He would collect dead animals and bring them over for burial services when we were 6 years old. I miss him. Happily married to Tye. Miss those times, makes me feel old.

Nice site!!! Wow, what a trip down memory lane. I can almost feel the sweat dripping off the walls. Nice to see so many faces in the pics and names on the message board of people who I shared so many great nights with at the BY. Special times for sure. Russ, you always scared the fuck outta me until I pushed you down Bill's steps once, then you were nice to me. It was funny to see your picture at my party on the site, I had forgotten about that. I should have a bunch of negatives at my folks place, next time I'm in lincoln, I'll pick them up. So...I moved to Santa Barbara in 1987 or so, hung out with Brooke Taylor, we worked at the same place there. I moved to San Francisco in 1991 and joined up with Psychic TV as their video guy, then later keyboards and sound creations in the band. I don't think I ever would have ended up doing so if I hadn't had a musical environment as nurturing as the Brickyard. Remembr, my old band with Jake, Mortis Gentis? I think we were the last band to ever play the Brickyard. I have a video from that show, I'll pull some stills off. Anyway, now I'm married and live in Hawaii doing photography, design, and music. If anyone's curious for a listen, email me. Again, thanks for the site, and nice to see all my old peeps. I hope you all are well.

Allenvoid!!!!!! I had no idea you were still among the living! Great to hear that you are alive and well. I was just in hawaii a few weeks ago, I wish I knew that you are there I would have looked you up and tortured you some more....hahaha just kiddin. I am still alive, believe it or not.... I am living with my girlfriend of 4 years and our 2 dogs, here in Lincoln. I lead a pretty uneventful life anymore, except for the occasional weekend binge. I still hang out with Laird, Hartman, Rudy, Schafer, Eggs, Serie and a few others. I still listen to punk rock music! Well, party on people. Great job again Mindy on this site....but it could use some updating. Thanks for your effort so far! Later Russ
