Thanks to Brian Wood for sending me to this site. Thanks for all my friends from these days we made adolescence and high school barable. Uncle ed, skating, great shows at the Brickyard and the Drumstick. I've been married for eight years now- have two kids. Gave the summer head shave to my son and the "Happy Home Barber" brought back a lot of haircuts in the garage. I live in Lincoln- I'm teacher. Email me.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!! I can't believe this site exists. It brings back a lot of memories. There are pictures of shows that I almost forgot about. The Cherry Hut even (GBH). Do you remember how hot it was that day? It even brought back memories of Jake Ryan in 8th grade government class. We just sat back and listened to Jake and the teacher argue about government. I saw this site listed on a message board in Lincoln. Right now, a friend (Chris Kelley) from back then and myself own a club called Knickerbockers on the corner of 9th and O St. in Lincoln for coming up on 10 years. I guess we are still seeing a lot of bands. We book about 60-70 bands a month. Check out www.knickerbockers.net for our calendar. The picture of Tooth's gallery is now the band room in Knickerbockers. The bands are just on the other side. Wow, I can't believe this site.

Wow. I'm impressed. This site is is one of those things that you didn't realize was needed, but is. Taking pictures at the Brickyard (Craig Ellenwood was an early influence) and making flyers for shows has led me to a career in the graphic arts. I currently work for an ad agency here in Lincoln. I've got a bunch of brickyard photos somewhere... It seems that for every four punk kids in the brickyard, one had a 35mm with BW film that he or she self-processed at school. I was one of those kids.

Ahh, I've finally found this site that I've heard so much about. Yep, lots of great Brickyard (and Drumstick) memories...even for me, who was pretty much a quiet observer at the shows. Most vivid memory is seeing "For Against" there on numerous occasions. (Hi Harry III and TD.) For some reason I also remember sneaking upstairs at the B. Yard and finding an office w/ a bunch of old motorcycle (?) trophies lined up all over the floor. Oh well, I moved to Florida in 1990 and now So. Cal. (since 1997). Kazaa.com has some killa' old school punk!

greetings! Its hard see the keyboard while tapping the buttons with my crooked right index finger because of the teerz 'o' joy and sadness clouding my vision, yet determination leads me forward. This site is really super neat. Currently, as you all know, I am the drummer for Blink 182 so I'm saving up money to get plane tickets and limos for everyone so we can have a big party at the Cornhusker and since its my party you can't say "who the hell let him in here?" this time. Cool? Finally, I love you all except Bill because he's too popular. punk out!

Thanks Mindy for the great job, it’s brought back so many memories. I would often regret that I was such a shit head back in the day then it occurred to me that if I hadn’t had a safe socially acceptable place to vent I’d probably still be in prison but most certainly wouldn’t have the rich life I do. Here’s my life: Dropped out of school, Got married, Had two children (Devin born 91, Carl born 94), Divorced after 7 years, Worked for B.N. for 5 years, Moved to an acreage by Brainard Ne., Ex-wife died got the boys back, Quit the rail road, Got remarried (Colleen), And currently am head of maintenance at the school in Brainard So I realize the universe is circular and we all end up were we started. Always remembered Jake, Steve, and Colin
